Pelvic Health Workshop

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

• 9:30am Arrive to a welcome drink, goodie bag and settle in
• 9:45am Our Pelvic Health Workshop begins. Talking all things pelvic floor and linking in with bladder & bowel.
• 10:45am Break
• 11am Pilates class incorporating pelvic floor exercises that you can use in your day to day life
• 11:50am Healthy lunch, relax and chat
• 12:30pm Close

LEARNING OUTCOMES

• To learn about the basic anatomy of the pelvic floor and learn about it’s function/roles within the body
• To learn about good and healthy bladder and bowel care 
• To learn self-care strategies to optimise pelvic floor, bladder and bowel functions
• To learn how certain exercises can benefit our pelvic floor complex
• To feel supported, connected and empowered in a safe space
• To leave the workshop with increased knowledge and notes to take away using the guided workbooks provided

YOU WILL NEED:

• Your own exercise mat
• A small head cushion or rolled up towel
• A small Pilates ball if you have one (ask to borrow one in advance if required)
• Please wear something comfortable you can move, exercise and stretch in
